We only process personal data when you choose to contact us — by email or phone. We then handle the details you provide, such as your name, contact details and the content of your message, solely to reply to you and help with your enquiry.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry. If you book a room or a table, you do so directly with us, and we then process the data to carry out and, where required by law, account for your booking.
This website uses no cookies and no tools for visitor statistics or ad tracking. So that the intro animation only shows once per visit, a small technical marker is stored temporarily in your browser (sessionStorage). It contains no information about you and disappears when you close the tab.
Emails and messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and are then deleted. If a business relationship arises, such as a booking, records are kept for as long as required by the Swedish Accounting Act (1999:1078).
Only the staff at Hotel Nämforsen see what you send us. The website is hosted by our web provider. We do not share your data with anyone else and do not transfer it outside the EU/EEA.
